Dr. Li’s expertise includes nonlinear finite element modelling and updating, sensitivity and reliability analysis, probabilistic performance-based engineering, and risk-based structural design. To leverage his research background and expertise, Dr. Li is currently orchestrating his research to align with infrastructural performance improvement in the face of uncertainty. He is also interested in inverse engineering problems.
