Mahmoud explored an innovative segmental masonry wall system designed to address challenges in traditional masonry, particularly for tall walls in single-story buildings. Through experimental testing and analytical modeling, the study assessed the out-of-plane behavior and structural performance of unbonded post-tensioned masonry panels under various loads. Findings suggest that this system enhances constructability, reduces labor requirements, and offers improved strength and stability, supporting its potential for widespread use in modular construction applications
